SGS Fresenius invests in furniture testing technology from Hegewald & Peschke

Universelles Möbelprüffeld

Hegewald & Peschke recently supplied a test stand for bed testing for SGS Fresenius' branch in Taunusstein.

In addition to the pneumatic test axes, the supplied test field also contains a drop tester and thrust pieces for various mattress tests and has an upwardly extended test frame so that normal beds as well as bunk beds and cots for children can be tested. The thrust pads included in the scope of delivery enable edge testing, which simulates sitting down at the edge with the associated one-sided load. Furthermore, the stability of the bed frame and the strength of the shelf can be checked.
