In November, Hegewald & Peschke MPT GmbH has delivered a universal testing machine 600 kN with lateral test chamber to Theile GmbH & Co. KG. The testing machine features a lateral test chamber with a capacity increased to 300 kN compared to predecessor models.
J. D. Theile GmbH & Co. KG, with corporate seat in Schwerte, manufactures round steel chains and forged components in the areas of conveying and lifting equipment. The universal testing machine was purchased to test the strength of chains through tensile tests. The lateral test chamber allows conducting bending tests up to max. 300 kN on individual chain links without the clamping devices needing to be converted.
The adaptation of the tool connections is designed to allow the customer reusing his own manufactured retaining units for the tensile tests in his already existing bending machine.
In addition, the machine is equipped with a completely closed protective enclosure with locking mechanism for the protection of persons.
